Dipwax Zero -Zero Microplastic Zero Heavy Metal - Cycle Chain Wax with hBN 250g

Dipwax Zero chain wax is an eco friendly microcrystalline based wax with hBN and that gives a super clean, smooth ride. 

It's taken a while but we finally have an environmentally safer alternative to PTFE and Molybdenum based cycle chain wax. By combining the toughness and durability of microcrystalline wax with the long lasting lubricity of hBN we have an alternative to give you guilt free miles of smiles. 

We have also made Zero Chain wax quick and clean to use. there is a additive heavy wheel of wax in the pouch so there are no messy powders to work with. Dipwax Zero is white and clean giving you a super clean chain- no more calf tattoos or oily fingers should the worst happen. 

The foil pouch allows melting the wax in the pouch in a bain-marie removing the need for any fancy equipment and greatly simplifying cleanup. 

Place the foil pouch in a Bain-marie (or place the wax into a wax melter or crock pot) and heat gently until the wax is completely molten. Thread a clean chain onto the hook and immerse in the wax carefully. Agitate to ensure wax and additives are fully distributed into the links of the chain. 

Remove the chain slowly and allow to cool before freeing off links then reinstalling. 

Dipwax Zero cycle chain wax can be re-melted many times and is enough for several treatments. Rewax after 1000km depending on conditions. Wax can be topped up with Dipwax top-up.
