The salt compartment cap on dishwashers frequently get stuck fast with salt crystals. Even if you are very careful filling the salt compartment it can be very difficult to remove. This specially designed spanner eases removal of dishwasher salt caps on Bosch group and other compatible machines - please see pictures to verify this will fit your cap type. This one has seven small semi circular lobes. Part numbers that it suits include 165259 dishwasher salt cap or container lid.
NOTE: Some models of Bosch Classixx Slimline Dishwashers use a very similar but slightly smaller cap please see DWSS #9
